The Honky Tonk omelette is everything a girl could ask for. They have REAL home fries. Aaaaand, the biscuit is soft ooey delicious fresh. Fast service. Def the new breakfast spot.

Had an amazing experience on Saturday morning, 9 November. The host greeted everyone, and as we were letting people a head of us because we were waiting on the rest of our group, he was telling us to stay where we were at. Once inside, the service continued to be amazing. The food was more than worth waiting.

An old town diner with large servings of classic American foods. The atmosphere is a retro diner of the past mixed with memorabilia of the last 60 years. The booths are small and the seats lightly comfy just as the old Woolworth diners used to be. The service was very quick and the food was still steaming when served. We were visited by management who shows great interest in customer satisfaction. The Fox is very well known by Jax natives but word gets out and they usually stay pretty busy. The place would be full if it was triple size but I fear you would lose the personal touch still found here. For breakfast, or a great Reuben, try out The Fox. You may wait for a seat but usually isnt long.

I havent been to the Fox in years, but I was driving that way a lot last week. Stopped by with my daughter to grab lunch and not much has changed. I love it! Places like this are my favorite. Food is always good, I love the thin fries. Parking is a bit of a hassle if its busy but its worth it. Parking: Parking out front or on the side streets where available. Sometimes you gotta drive around a bit to find something.

First & last time at this place . the food was good but our waitress SUCKED BIG TIME . It was so much i rather not go back down that moment. & upon leaving the owner of the restaurant shouted OKAY CHANDLER ! & Then everyone proceeded to clap it was almost like her behavior was being validated . Ive never endured such rude behavior . She went from not stating her name to kneeling on the ground & saying honey . Clearly being sarcastic. Learn how to take constructive criticism HONEY & then maybe one day you can get out a diner & make some real money at an high end restaurant but as of now your attitude gives diner pay . The manager was very polite & so were the Chefs . Q made a recommendation cornbread hash , was a good choice .

We came here by accident and it was great. From the outside this place looked not interesting at all, but once we were inside it was just like a 50 s diner. And the food was very good. We had the tuna melt and the reuben classic sandwich. Both were fantastic and reasonably prived. And the waitress was very attentive.

Great local diner in the Avondale area of Jacksonville. Ambience is exactly what you would expect. Service was above and beyond, with team members working together. I was engaged by no less than four different employees. Food was delicious. Menu was what one would expect for a diner. Meatloaf Sandwich was fantastic. Fries were tasty and fresh. Coffee was excellent. Highly recommended.
